These are CH-3Es flown by the 21st SOS; these were flown to Utapao in 1971 to be cucooned and shipped to Davis Monthan for storage; seven were restored and sent to Luke AFB in 1975 to start up a USAFR special ops squadron, the 302nd SOS; I know because I flew them at NKP and then for 13 years at Luke.

These appear to be the original 21 SOS Pony Express, HH-3s with out the refueling probe (and possibly the external fuel tanks).
