Mwanza, Tanzania

We spent two weeks in Mwanza, we had an amazing time. The most important event was the wedding. But we also visited to Bakumbi village, part of the bridge2aid project, where the elderly and those with conditions such as leprosy and albinism can live peacefully and in a sutainable community. We spent time at Forever Angels, an orphanage set up by a young British woman. Both have web sites which are well worth checking out. Finally we spent 3 days on safari camping in the Serengeti. I hope these images taken by my daughter and me capture something of our experiences.

I Philip Micallef a volonteer of Mission Fund Malta and visited Tanzania Many times to do volontary work and projects there especially in Mwanza at Nyakato Parish and at Makiungu Hospital at Singida.On every experience in Tanzania we pay a visit to Bukumbi Leprosy Village and give them a donation.
