Leica M Lenses on Lumix G2

I recently bought a Panasonic G2 and the Panasonic made adapter to mount my Leica M lenses on the camera.

I was worried that using the adapter and manual lenses on the camera would be cumbersome. However, it is very simple to do. Just touch the screen as you lift the camera to your eye, the viewfinder is in magnified mode that way. Focus and touch the shutter button to go back to full view and shoot. If you turn the wheel one click to the right the magnification is even larger, making focusing very easy. To this really is not much different from working with the rangefinder patch in the M's. Meaning you have to place the patch on what you want in focus then recompose. I am getting tach sharp images with my Noctilux at f1. Something that was always hit or miss for me on my M6.

If you have a Lumix G2 or want to use your Leica lenses on a Digital camera and do not want to drop thousands on a body, IMHO, this is a very nice compromise.
