I prefer the color, and keep looking to see if a Leprechaun would pop out somewhere.

actually like both (which quite strange for me to be impartial).

I do prefer the color version. A very well composed image.

It's nice to see b/w but really great to see you shooting in color again, especially with these rich green splashes of color throughout!

Very nice! Just like here though, it just doesn't look like the dead of winter! -BJ

Yes, the color for sure and that touch of fog adds so much.

Love it, Scott....the mist burning off is a bonus !!
Guenter Eh09-Jan-2008 23:15
I really like the b+w, the fog, the mood more powerful with the colored one! Vote for both! ;-)

colours are wonderful, I can almost feel the warmth of the sun breaking through. . .

Spring has sprung!
For a day or so!

Very nicely shot.

Beautiful. Yes the green moss at the bottom right makes this shot.
Nicki Thurgar09-Jan-2008 20:52
I think the colour one has the slight edge... great composition & exposure!
Scott Browne09-Jan-2008 20:38
Both look good, but I think I like the color one best. The patches of green stand out well amongst all the other winter colors. Good job capturing that hint of fog, too.

Nice one!

from the green moss to the blue sky, a lovely range of winter color

I really like the warm sun on the moss.
