No feeling like getting up in the middle of a cold winter's night to help a cow deliver her new born calf. And going back to bed, cold & tired but having shared in your own nativity. I guess we share some of the same memories, Scott. I sooo know what you mean about using those thoughts years later to get out of bed!!!

In the history of mankind, theirs no more noble calling than the family farmer. Pity social trends and economics are making them extinct.
