It's Beginning to Look...

November 16

Creekside in Davidson County

... like Christmas. This beautiful weed (Bush Honeysuckle) keeps
the woods filled with color long after the leafs are gone from
the trees. If we have a hard winter the birds will devour the
berries quickly and deposit the all over in little piles of
natural fertilizer. It is high on Tennessee's list of invasive
pests.

This is very nice, like the touch of blue sky in the background and mottled leaves.

Wonderful photo and great seasonal theme. The DoF is excellent isolating the berries. Very nice Scott.

I do not appreciate the reminder, but the image is lovely. Invasive maybe, but beautiful.

Nicely done. Now all you need is a Chickadee pecking at one of the berries! I suppose that will come in time. ;-)

Ahhhhh, Now I'm going to be humming that the rest of the night : )
They are pretty and a nice color splash after things have gone brown and gray.

Ack! Don't say it! And apparently there are only 39 shopping days until Christmas and I haven't even begun! Great bright, cheery picture on such a gloomy day here! Thanks!
