The recovering dunes in the state natural area between Fort Walton and Destin. This is a wonderful five mile stretch of undisturbed wind blown barrier island that was hit hard by Ivan last year. Sunrise walks are always good for the soul.

Everything about this shot is excellent - composition, perspective, bewitching muted colours everywhere and tons of contrast. Fascinating scene, I want to step right in!
