My Tennessee

Kingston Springs, TN

I spent the morning finishing up fabricating gates for
my job. After lunch, the clouds moved out, I loaded my
truck, grabbed a camera and headed over to hang gates.
This scene caught my eye while taking the back way to
the job site. I pulled off the road, grabbed my camera,
ran to the fence and NOTHING... dead battery... I could
not pass it up so I snapped a couple with my phone. I
softened the image to add a little to the painterly look.

Looks a lovely fresh day.
Don't you just hare that experience - I usually err on the side of caution like crazy!

Yup, definitely a painterly feel - and confirms the ol' "the best camera is the one you have with you" - or at least, the one with charged batteries :o)

Another good use for a c phone. Not bad for you back up camera. Well done Scott.

Beautiful pastoral setting - nice job! Note to Santa: Bring Scott an adapter so he can charge his camera battery in his truck while he's at work :-)

The perfect country scene. That has happened to me before. I'm glad you had your phone. It takes really good images!

I can see why you stopped, this is a wonderful scene, Scott. Your phone takes better shots than me and my gear!
:O)
