Neighbor

Pegram, TN

I am amazed at how people watched out for and took care of one another throughout this event. The acts of service and kindness continue. Spirits remain high in spite of the challenges. We will make it through this together. Here a neighbor pitches in and helps clean. This was about 6 or 7 hours into the clean up effort. The outside view of this home can be seen below.

I have dedicated a gallery to scenes from the aftermath of the 2010 1000 year flood...

I have always said I would prefer my home be burned to the ground...cleaning up after flood is heartbreaking & nothing is the same again.

Disasters seem to always bring out the best in people. I have a feeling that those interior walls may have to come down though if they were soaked through.

Wow, what a horrible disaster. Great to leanr that people pulled together and looked out for one another.

Certainly tells a story! Looking at those reflections though, I'd want a highly polished floor when everything gets back to 'normal'!

What a shot.

There are more than a thousand words in this one shot.

Oh my. Get all the water out and let the floor dry. It may not need replacing. Oh my, oh my, memories still too fresh. At a time like this, the best and the worst come out in people.

That wall line where the water went is high.
It's these times, neighbors pull together more than ever.

Wow ~ by the looks of the wall it appears as though the water was several feet high in this room. So sad.
Did your home experience any water damage Scott?
