Lirodendron tulipifera (Tulip Poplar) is our state
tree. It grows to 100' tall vigorously. I've seen
one in an old growth forest that would have measured
about 36' circumference (6 people hand-to-hand). It
has yellow flowers in the spring. For the TITC.
