I'd forgotten about my earlier comment. Sigh... I WAS looking forward to seeing Lucerne. Alas our plans changed and I have to bypass it to go straight to Interlaken from Zurich. For now I have to see it vicariously through this gallery. But it is very, very much on my list for the future.

That's beautiful, and the aspect ratio of the photo allows the lake and the road to run through and lead the eye through the shot. I'm looking forward to seeing Lucerne for myself; this gallery has been a good one to pick up some points of interest.
