i agree that the obelisk does continue the flow...
for me, the car is what breaks the flow of the lines which is what makes this an intersting composition. everything except for the turning car and the spherical
advertisements follow the flow of vertical lines. the car doe sit more so as it adds
more contrast to the overall shot.

Like how the obelisk continues the flow begun by the street lines. That turning car adds to the composition a great deal and halts the eye just enough. Nice job.
