Sea Birds on West Point Island: South America - Part 17

This was a unique shore excursion, one in which we went at our own pace, with promises of wonderful sea views from the other side of the island, as well as an easily visible sea bird nesting site.
Unfortunately the misty weather conditions made visibility just about nil - in fact, it was only too easy to wander off the track in some places! But everyone agreed, the long steep climb and the long walk across the island were worth it just to see the Albatross and Rockhopper Penquins so close.
And the generous and delicious tea at the end of the afternoon was a welcome treat!
