Formerly known as the Pan Am Building
200 Park Avenue, between E44 and E45 Streets
One of the most hated buildings in New York, generally not for its architecture, but for its
location, looming above Grand Central Terminal and cutting off views along Park Avenue.
The cutback north and south faces help minimize the buildings bulk.
Completed: 1963
Height: 808 ft
Architect: Emery Roth, Walter Gropius, and Pietro Belluschi
Style: modern
