December 2005, very cold in Belgium.
Autumn was warm, so warm that these Black Swans living in the wild, started to breed.
But winter came very fast and it is so cold. Now they have 6 little babyswans (cygnets)
Lets hope they survive the cold winter.
2 years ago the same thing happend, they had 7 babyswans (cygnets)
One survived...
Monday januari 16, all babyswans are doing great, the Lommelse hiking club Milieu 2000 adopted the swans and one of the members comes to the Sahara every morning and evening to feed the youngsters. All six swans survived the very cold days that we had for some time now..
