Saint Jospeh Piers

* * The piers that jut out into Lake Michigan where the Saint Joseph River ends are two of the most photographed subjects in St. Joseph and Berrien County. Here are a few "faces" that the piers put on. No matter what the weather, be it a bright sunny day, or one of the fierce storms Lake Michigan kicks up, the photos are always fantastic! Check back often, this is one of my favorite subjects to photograph - KwZ

Beautiful pier shots Ken, Thank's for the visit and maybe we will see you at the St Jospeh pier someday shooting some seniors :)

These photos nearly made me cry. I had forgotten how much beauty this small midwestern town holds. I miss the water so much. I am 26 year old born and raised saint joseph native. I moved down to Florida for school in 2000 and have been extremely homesick ever since. Although my home is now here, I will soon own some property in Saint Joseph so my heart can be where it belongs. Thank you very much for the photos.

Amazing pictures! They really make me homesick. I live in Naples, Florida, but I grew up in the area and my heart is always in Michigan.

St. Joe is where my heart is. Thanks you for putting joy into my midwestern soul. I've lived in the Colorado mountains for 20 years, but will always consider St. Joe my home and relish the many walks on the pier to the lighthouse, day and night. thank you.

I just discovered your great photos today and I sure enjoyed them. I was stationed at St. Joe LBS in 1955 and 56. Lot of memories there. It's been 50 years since I was there.
