Anchorage has moose everywhere. You can be walking in the busy part of downtown and a moose will be munching away at the flowers. They can be dangerous, but they are very pleasant to have around the neighborhood and I enjoyed them immensely when I lived in Anchorage. The ones in the photos live along the bike path which runs from Earthquake Park to Kincaid Park. I'd throw some camera gear in a messenger bag and jump on my mountain bike and go moose hunting. It was great.
