I was born in Oregon, a wonderful place. I've spent about a third of my life there and plan to head back when it's time for the long dirt nap. This gallery includes photos from the various periods I spent in Oregon. One thing I've learned while digitizing these old negatives is that Portland water is the best for processing film. The Bull Run reservoir is on the slopes of Mt. Hood, or more accurately, WyEast, and the water is pure. Tri-X souped in Bull Run is the best. Also, I have to say my technique for development was not bad. I never could print, but I was very meticulous in developing the film.
