Andy Hampsten, riding for the Levis-Raleigh team, made a good showing at Nevada City in 1984, finishing second. He later became the first American to win the Giro, the Tour of Italy. Photo note: I switched from Nikon to Canon in 1992. One of the Nikon lenses I still miss is the 105 f2.5, with which I shot this foto. What a great lens. Canon has an equivalent in the 100 f2. The other Nikon lens I really miss is the 28 f2.
