Does anybody in Hercegovina look like this anymore? I think this woman was aware she was headed for the museum and encouraged me to document all that I could. She was sitting in a small field on the road to "Listice" while her daughter cut corn stalks and generally cleaned up the field. The daughter, who was quite a looker, by the way, was not so impressed with my intentions to preserve Croatian culture. During the war I passed this way again and noticed that the field had not been tended in some time. The elder lady had probably passed on, and her daughter had migrated to Canada or Australia.
