The publishing of a photo gives gravity to the subject matter. The viewer will look at his image and say "hmmmm, I guess those barrels are pretty important...for some reason." The truth is, I have no idea what the significance of the barrels is. But it was a good topic in the purely visual sense. This was shot in Buckland, a village not far from Kotzebue.
