I call this pair of eagles "the Cranes." They nest in the mast of a disused crane and in 2011 raised one eaglet. He is still around the neighborhood but his parents run him off if he gets close to the nest. In 2012 they started a clutch and the female was seen feeding the young just once. After that they abandoned the nest. Most likely cause is lack of food. Whatever fish they depend on is apparently late this year.
