KL Bird Park

Being claimed that it's the world's largest indoor bird park. Located very near to the Lake Garden in Kuala Lumpur, about 20 minutes drive from my home. It's my first visit (after 20 over years!) and was quite happy with it. The entrance fee is RM12 and it's well spent for the amount of photos I've taken.

Came here from FM reviews seeing your review and how these are "...first time shooting birds, so it's considered an amateur shots."

They look pretty good to me!

Dear Anette, glad to hear that you're also staying around in KL! Yes, I did take pics of butterflies, which I haven't got the time to upload into my gallery yet. I'm very satisfied with this lens as the sharpness is superb from corner to corner. The EF400mm F/5.6L USM could be abit slow plus the lack of IS is a drawback. If you're using a cropped sensor body, you're basically shooting with a FOV equivalent to 480mm in fullframe format. Hope to hear good news from you!

Hi Zey Tee,
I was just searching around the net for this EF 300mm lens you have. I am also living here in Kuala Lumpur, just 15min away from the bird Park. Did you ever try to take pix of Butterflies with this 300mm lens ?
I just wonder. I am trying to find enough feedback on this 300mmm lens to buy me one, but still a little here and there between 300 and 400mm.
Whatever, I assume you are very happy with yours.
