Introducing the 2018 Hornet Queen!
Spotted just emerging from hibernation, looking healthy, sleek,
and ready to build a new nest.
She will find an out of the way place, we hope, and in a few short weeks
will have a few dozen children working to grow an even bigger family!
Last year was a banner year for wasps and hornets
and the way this year is starting out
it looks like they are hoping for a repeat.
