Silverdale Beach

A heron with a freshly caught sculpin.

I didn’t know this beach existed…
From the patio of our hotel room we watched all kinds of birds including
a pair of kingfishers who seemed to be fighting over that piece of the beach.
Sometimes looking out the Coho salmon would be jumping.
Watched a seal catch and eat one for dinner.
The light plays on the water as the the tide goes out and then back in…
We were amazed because this is about a block from of a
regional mall and commercial district, a very busy and congested area.

Plain yet exotic. It has an Asian feel to it. "VV"
