Meanwhile Down at The Marina…

You know what a boat really is?
A hole in the water that you throw money into…
Someone gave me a boat once for free.
So far so good!
As soon as I backed it in by the barn and looked at the tags and licenses.
Yep! It was going to cost me some money that I didn’t have.
Then pretty soon the family wanted to know when we were going out
or wondering if they could borrow it and go themselfs.
I said sure! Buy the tags, fuel, bait, and we’ll go!
I finally gave the boat to them.
Told them to come and get it!
Now they had their own personal hole in the water!
My money?
I put it to good use.
I helped a Nigerian widow who needed it more than me….
Funny I never heard back from anybody
about the boat or the widow…

yes indeed, boats can be a financial commitment, and the bills just don't end...admire your framing here, rife with presence..
