A Deere in My Lights

One of the excavators from the sewer project peeking over our hedge
Parked along our road for the weekend.
Asked for the keys just in case something happened.
They said “No keys! Now days they use a code”
I was feeling like a dinosaur by the time they filled me
in on how much equipment has changed in 40 years.

Olympus E-5
1/640s f/3.2 at 92.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Good title. Even 10 years is considered the past. It is off putting that technology changes so quickly and will go even faster in the future.
