Nash is a local grower and purveyor
of organic vegetables, grains, meats and all around good guy!
Nash started decades ago growing market gardens
on vacant lots around the tiny town of Dungeness, Washington.
He became famous for his carrots, so much so that an
organic co-op in Seattle bought farmland for him to use.
He now works much of the farmland around Dungeness.
He also mentors many young up and coming organic farmers.
Even if you are just passing through it is worth
driving the Dungeness Loop just to see his operation.
Go into his store or stop at one of his stands
at the many local farmers markets because
his veggies look good and taste even better.
This shameless plug was brought to you today
because it was so foggy, wet and over all
dreary that I went home to
sit by the stove and eat
organic kale chips.
