I was shocked when I went out east of town and found this scene!
A local farm family had put up fences, locked gates and security cameras on all of their fields.
I guess between the hunters blasting away at the elk. ( Think shooting fish in a barrel. )
The punks trashing their crops with 4x4's
and people who just disregard the posted signs.
This is the desperate measure! It's a sad truth!

I can sympathize! I have lived on ranches and when hunting season came
around. It was my job to park up near the road and kick trespassers out
as fast as they would show up.
It would get pretty busy! Imagine telling one group they had to leave as
another would pull up and start unloading. There were "No Trespassing" signs
every 1/4 mile, yet they still came.( The signs had to be replaced every year. )
If any of them had gone down to the main house and asked they probably would
have let them hunt, but no one ever did.
