20050707 / Smokin' on the Row

Cannery Row / Monterey, CA

Superbikes crowded the Row tonight, gearing up for Laguna Seca's
Moto GP this weekend. Smoking tires, smoking cigarettes and the
smell of gasoline 'scent' me home before the sun went down. :)

nice lighting. i wouldn't have the courage to point a fully extended tele-zoom at a total stranger!

One of the best candid shots I've seen, chris.. perfect clarity and moment caught. the DOF is kickin... and have I told you how jealous I am of your 300mm?

Well, it's true, surfer boy..

Great DOF, funny colours (in the PAD version), good background.
I like it.

Great DoF and lighting in this shot! I can't decide between the original and the b&w, but if pressed, I'd go with the b&w. I have somewhat of a proclivity for b&w images...and I like the tonal range you've come out with in that conversion.
