20th September

Nipped over to Greenock to see the QE2,
she was back on home water (the Clyde!) as part of a 8 day tour round Britain,
as well as quite a few boats and yachts, the Red Arrows also followed her up here too!

it was quite disappointing that we couldn't get anywhere near the QE2, it was Fenced Off!
But i think the display by the Red Arrows made up for that ;-)

@SRW - I'm old enough to remember seeing the original Queen Elizabeth (the ship, that is...)

Very nice shot of this demonstration. Zak, what is the matter with them--when the QE2 was here in New Orleans they allowed people to tour on board.

You only get one chance at a shot like that, and you captured it beautifully!

They flew down the eastern kyle (very near Rhubodach) and gave me the fright of my life just about 12:10, nearly fell off the bike.
