VIC 32, the last sea-going coal fired steam Puffer was over here today,
quite handy for a few pics when it has done nothing but rain today!

You can't improve on perfection, this is perfection, everyone who's seen this shot thinks so.

Hi Zac, I am making a model of VIC32 and with your permission would love to print a B/W copy of your beautiful photo to hang beside the model when finished.
The history of these busy little boats is amazing. Tks, Royal Declerck.

I have to say the smoke going one way then curled the other way makes this very artistic.

There must be Deep Purple on board, with all that 'Smoke on the water'. Brilliant shot, Zak. Big vote!

No wonder we are troubled with "global warming" going by the reek coming out of that funnel.
Can you imagine what it would have been like when all ships chucked out that much smoke?
I remember when these little boats sat in the inner harbour and unloaded coal every day.

One for the archives, it needs to be put in a museum or converted - but what
a fantastic shot! The crew wouldn't want to be asthmatic working that boat!
Liz 28-Jun-2007 21:52
