4th July

another day of zooming out to sea,
I couldn't quite catch this ship before i got the new lens,
I can easily get it now ;-)

for the record, it's 'Fort George'
and the Tugs are MV Nimble and MV Impetus.

to hugh crawford;the ship is fort george and it is the (RFA)royal fleet auxiliary.its a support vessel for the (RN)Royal navy.It transports ammo and fuel to the fighter ships when they are in the war zones. My mate works on that ship as a marine engineer.

The floating store off to sea. It is Independence Day in the states. If she comes to our port, we will have to sneak aboard and toss any tea in the ocean ;-)

I saw her in early april tied up at Knock Dhu terminal when I took a drive round there.
What is her job with the navy? Anybody know?
