What a horrible day!
we were up and out all lined up for the 10.10am ferry
but because of the weather the ferrys weren't running!
so we ended up waiting until 11.45am
which then took us to Gourock and not Wemyss Bay so took a wee bit longer at sea,
at Gourock we drove down the coast to Ardrossan, arriving there about 2pm
and then being told that the ferry to the Isle of Arran
isn't running either due to the weather.
We ended up waiting 4 hours(until 6pm)
until we eventually got on the ferry to Arran
which was a BIG mistake, it was the worse crossing EVER!
the crew were handing out sick bags!
we all felt ill, I wasn't so bad mind...
so we arrived on Arran in pitch black with it pouring with rain,
I then drove right past the B&B so had to turn round...
we did get there though the same day although we didn't actually SEE the island until the next morning.
