17th August

The school.
It's surprising that any work gets done,
when there is such a view from the window.

Nice contrast of man & nature.

Rule #1 when building a school: nicer the area/view, the worse the building!

School daze ;>) mine never had views like this. Is that a solitary seagull or pigeon I see flying above ? Great clouds rolling in Zak. LOL Stewart. Bet you would give anything to be back there now your a bigger boy.

Wow, Zak. This certainly brings back memories... Big Bert Alexander and his belt that could stand on its own; Poggie the maths teacher who had a nervous breakdown; Joe Bubbles the chemistry teacher; Miss McLean the music teacher and Mr Dunlop the woodwork teacher who were romantically linked; Teddy Biff, the geography teacher... Being 'claimed' for a fight up the Union at 4 o'clock. Kissing the French girl behind the techie block... We never bothered about the view, we were just bored teenagers stuck on an wee island that had nothing to offer us... we just wanted to get away as soon as possible - we took the view for granted.

I was always getting told off for looking out of the window...

I agree. I'm afraid I would be a day dreamer...
