this is very sad to see the houses being demolished on ballochgoy, i was surfing the net when i came upon these photos. i was born in rothesay and lived at 30 ballochgoy until 1950. we emigrated to america in may 1950, my grandmother lived at 112 high street . my grandfather, grandmother and father are buried in the cemetary above loch fad. my mother was the first occupant of 30 ballochgoy in 1940 when it was first built. my father died dec 2 1949 and my mother emigrated to america with her four children.
