Zak, your top pic looks like the Jerry Bruckheimer movie logo, scarily similar, excellent pic

Thank You Zac. I was born in Rothesay in the early 30's and left it in my late teens to work on the mainland. My family were bakers with a shop in Montegue street. After almost 50 years in the marine industry, both in the UK and US, I retired in 1999. After all that time, every day that I look at your photographs I recognize some place from my youth. Thank you again, and regards to all in Rothesay.

Would just like to add my agreement to all of the above - thanks Zac.

That Daily Bute has been able to complete 10 years and still be compulsive viewing is compliment to the vision of the eye behind the camera, and the quality of material on offer in front of it.
I could waffle on, but a big 'Thank You' probably says it it all.

I can add nothing that has not been said over the years about your continuous coverage of the wonderful scenery around you, the colours and the fact no matter what the weather you bring us a touch of Scotland every day.

Congratulations, Zak, and thank you for 10 years of unstinting service. All of us who don't live on Bute are lucky to be able to see the wonder of Bute every day, and have you to thank. Your dedication is much appreciated, and whilst I fear the day that you are no longer able to continue your good work, you have already established a fantastic portfolio for us all to enjoy for the rest of our lives

Happy 10th anniversary Zak. I'd concur that's pretty impressive. Nice set of pictures today.
