If you think that beach is litter free, go have a closer look. The seaweed should also be removed on a regular basis. Its Argyll & Bute Councils fault for employing unqualified jobs for the boys. These two radio stations will divide the local community, as how can one station say for the community when they aint for all the community.
Aaarrrggggghh. I love this Island, in fact I adore it, but the comments preceding mine sum up my thoughts exactly. Things like rusty handrails detract from the kerbside appeal and first impressions of the Island. Anybody passionate about the Island can see through these (trivial?) flaws but new visitors will invariably form their first impression on anything they view as unkept.
I'd also agree with Michelle in that the beeches are pretty nice all round really.

Agree with your comments about the handrails being in need of some paint, however the beach is pretty clean and free from litter - can't really comment on your other points but would like to see more tourists on the Island too.

This beach is a perfect example of why tourists dont holiday here. Cant it be cleaned up and the handrails painted. Has anyone got the measurements of the esplanade to end the rumours of its size avoiding what fair rides can be used? Some of the show rides have arrived here for over 20 years, it needs new attractions to attract the punters. Why dont have a nightclub even a disused farm modernised to go 'I-BUTE-ZA(copyright)' style.
