There should be laws passed to regulate where creels can be laid. There are far too many far too close to the shipping channels and a small boat has no chance once snagged.

Been there big Knife , Divers mask et al.

"1.36pm -- Clyde Coastguard tasked Rothesay Coastguard Rescue Team to assist the yacht Catalina, with six persons on board, after they fouled their propeller in Rothesay Bay. Following a sudden increase in wind speed the vessel started to drag anchor and Largs Lifeboat was tasked to tow the vessel into Rothesay Harbour."

Tell you what I think. A foresail sheet (ie rope) has got itself tangled in the propellor. Maybe.
