Just been advised by an expat. Brandane in Australia that this was once the house of a Bishop. Hence Bishop Street !

Is this on a buiding beside Currie The Butchers, opposite the old main Post Office in Bishop Street ? I am pretty sure there was an inscription there 60 years ago
