25th September

What a busy day,
firstly out to the Airstrip for the renaming ceremony,
great turnout, weather and over 20 aircraft.

and then later on out to Ettrick for the unveiling of a memorial
where the pipeband played, kites were flown and some of the planes did a flyover!

I think it is fitting that the airstrip finally has a name, making it a lot easier to refer to when telling others about it, and the name could not be more appropriate.
