very sad to see, like des i also remember the shops, we lived in the hotel next door and bought milk from the dairy (green shop) the window top centre is now guest bathroom, great view - if you like charcoal :)

I loved those shops when I was a boy. Sold great toys
Beats me that Argyle & Bute council can secure funding improvments to keep Bute looking beautiful but they won't take on the freeholders of this derelict eyesore right in the middle of the town.
