In my day all along from here to Knox,s slip were the bus departure points for Yeats and S.M.T bus,s , the clippies used to lean on the railings that ran along the top of the sea wall, often the cash pouches which they wore would catch on the lower rail and tip into the water. Many fish suppers,ice creams and visits to the pictures were funded by a bit of digging in the sand at the base of this wall. happy Rothesay childhood !!!!
