Absolutely, Joel. As a walkaround or primary lens, it's just about perfect - hard to think of another with such usability and range...any specialized lens would be better at a particular focal length or range - but none come close to the flexibility and compact packaging. I have 7 lenses I switch between, but the 18-250 is my primary walkaround and travel lens, and the default lens I go to unless I know I need one of the other lenses for a specific task. I'm always confident of this lens getting me a good shot in almost any scenario, and not having to swap lenses to shoot something wide followed by something distant.
