Open Gardens in S. Australia

Each year keen gardeners open their private gardens to the public. A new book is issued each year so the public can choose which gardens are of most interest to them. The first garden
featured in this particular gallery is in the lower north of South Australia on the edge of a tiny town called Rhynie. This particular garden is approx 1 Ha in size, water is from a dam pumped up into a holding tank. The main feature of this garden at this time of year is the thousands of bulbs consisting of King Alfred, Gabrielles which at least four & a half thousand flowering at the time of the opening. There are 50 different types of daffodil, but the main one featured is Gabrielle.
