"Sleepy"
A young koala up a tree, one of two we had in our trees yesterday. This was
the only one I could reach with my long lens, but I couldn't wake him no
matter how hard I tried! The other koala was too far up and too much
foliage between us. This photo taken on the last day of September. We
are now in October down under. Thanks for all the support everyone, and
I have enjoyed finding photos that "could" fit with the theme - it was a challenge!

"Shed"
My little garden shed that started out as a hot house, but got too shady,
so now it is somewhere to store garden things like pots and stakes.
Here you can see plenty of spring flowering ipheions (bulbs) in bloom

"Sunbathers"
We spent a few hours in Cairns and the men were keen to see the newly
updated swimming pool... but then we came across a greened area alongside
the pool with many stretched out in the sunshine getting themselves a
tan. We had trouble getting Dick & John away.. and sorry boys, I've
had a play with Photoshop so you can't quite see the lady with only
a G-string!

"Swimming Pool"
We're still here in the resort, a view of part of the swimming pool
especially for guests - others can swim in the sea or the river, both
are close by, though one needs to look for crocodiles & stingers. I
think the pool would be safer!

"Scone"
A favourite of Dick is afternoon tea with scones... in this case a scone.
Here he is pouring himself a pot of tea...

"Smoker's campsite"
A law passed several years ago bans smokers from public areas, in particular
where food is served, hence inns, hotels, cafes find ways to cater for
clients who wish to smoke, and this is how the resort coped, building an
area away from the eating areas, & making it as comfortable as possible.

"Spring"
Although the violas have been flowering for months, right through autumn and winter
the new spring climbing rose leaves can be seen hovering above and behind
the basket of flowers. Photo taken today.. along with nearly 50 others.

"Smile"
Enjoying our time together in the warmth of the tropics.

"Seating"
The open air restaurant where we called in twice firstly for
afternoon tea and the 2nd time for lunch. No windows, and surrounded
by rainforest palms and trees, a delight!

"Silhouette"
Looking skyward through the palm fronds, something I enjoy doing...

"Sea and Sand"
Photo taken on one of my walks along the shoreline across the road from
where we were staying.

"Stairs"
This is stairs to an outback style relief station that we were glad
to find with tables & seating for Dick and I to have a rest while the
young ones ventured the walk to the lookout and falls.
