Polish Hill Valley

Part of the panoramic view from Pauletts Winery
in the Clare Valley wine growing area. Long shadows
as the beautiful sunshiny autumn day draws in.

Back to the b&b where we stayed, across the road this old
Wesleyan church still stands, note the bell!

and the bare paddocks alongside the b&b our
daughter and friends stayed.

Looks like it might rain, can't quite make up its mind. Spent 4 weeks in Qld, rained all but 4 days. Go 40 kms in land and it very dry.

Lovely scenery

beautiful landscape, Von. But so dry looking!
If you wanted to make the foreground a little bit brighter and to make the sky slightly
darker to bring out the detail in those clouds you could have a go at using the "Shadows/Highlights" option in Photoshop... but bear in mind a little goes a long way. ;)

I'm watching the drought stricken south west of NSW at this moment on the news. This is how it's looking everywhere & then in New Zealand they have almost been washed away. Bay of Plenty, where Rosemary lived...sad sights all round.
