Native Frangipani

At home

In November the Frangipani-type flowers tumble out on long stems in a profusion that almost hides the foliage.
The fragrance is amazing and permeates our house each year.
The possums apparently love to eat the leaves and flowers
though we have never had that problem with our tree, it is
far enough away from the house to encourage any leaping
possums, who love to use our roof as a speedway during the night.
Photo taken from our side balcony, and that is a golden elm behind.

I would imagine this has a lovely perfume, if it is like the larger white and pink ones. I agree with Buz.

What a gorgeous scene - I love frangipani trees - i wonder if a hardy variety has been developed ???? (super hardy!). Love this shot - and your description of the possums :) V

Laughing at the possum part of your narrative. Our fence row is a possum highway, but our roof is reserved for the dancing squirrels. LOL :) Lovely flowery image. V

It is an amazing perfume...one of those plants i've thought about but never grown. I love their shape too. V Hope your staying indoors out of your heatwave.
