Sulphur Crested Cockatoo

At home

A young bird who frequents the seed dish, waiting in the
tree for me to go back inside.. this isn't the image I had
planned to put on for my PAD, but the temperature has been
so hot today, reaching 44dC and breaking a record for how many
days in a row over 40dC that our little city has had since files began
that instead I found an archive image.
My computer has been off for a good part of the day, and now
it is in the cool of the evening I'm doing a quick catch up.
Sorry I didn't get to comment yesterday, my brain felt as thought it was fried..

Canon EOS 40D ,Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8
1/500s f/7.1 at 90.0mm iso200 full exif

Very Nice, I'm a birder from the Netherlands, compliments with this picture.

Hope the heat wave breaks and you get some rain and cooler weather for Christmas. We are complaining here for having 12-15C but reading your comment, I feel ashamed. A wonderful shot of this little Cockatoo! V
