My sister grows Australian natives, and after her marriage broke up moved back
with Mum and has taken over the gardening, Mum now being in her 90s. Last
visit she passed on to me a batch of these cannas which no longer fitted in
her theme of only natives, but they go well amongst red roses and I soon found
a spot in the garden for them, and I'm glad to say, they're thriving! I'll
have to wait to find out the colour of the bloom, so far there's just these
rather attractive leaves!
